Parking was really kind of a hassle, and the shuttle info wasn’t as clear as it could’ve been. We did make it in time, but we had to ask around quite a bit to figure things out. The race itself was fine though.

I paid quite a bit to do this race, i kept waiting to see where that money went. Maybe my expectations were too high, but for the price, it didn’t really feel like I was getting much in return.

The shirt and medal were fine, I guess, just nothing I’d call memorable. For an entry fee like that, it would’ve been nice to have a few better perks or at least something that made it feel a little more worth it.
I usually like supporting local races, but this one felt overpriced for what was included. I probably won’t be signing up again unless the cost comes down, because apparently “local event” doesn’t always mean “reasonable price.”

I was just trying to look up race info and registration details, but using the site on my phone was kind of a pain. The pages loaded fine, so credit there, but everything felt like it was tucked away in some “good luck finding it” menu. I kept tapping around like a confused detective just to find basic stuff. It does technically work, but the layout could definitely be less of a maze

This course was a mess. The signs were bad, the turns were confusing, and I kept feeling like I was being left to figure everything out on my own. Maybe other people somehow managed fine, but I definitely felt like I was the one stuck getting turned around the whole time

I was expecting the corral starts to be organized based on how they described it, but it felt messy from the beginning. The wording made it sound like the waves would be clearly managed and spaced out, but that wasn’t really the case. It was confusing, crowded, and not at all what I thought I was signing up for.

Maybe I’m just too picky about this stuff, and I know GPS can be weird sometimes, but my watch showed the course coming up short. I’d been looking forward to getting the full distance in, so that was frustrating.

Bottom line, I had a fun time, but it was definitely more crowded than I expected. The vibe was good and the energy was nice, but it was a little hard to fully enjoy everything with so many people around. I’d still recommend it, just maybe not during peak hours.

The race itself was good, and once I was there I had a nice time. But before that, I kept going back and forth between feeling excited and kind of frustrated because the emails and updates seemed to come later than I expected. I ended up checking the website a bunch just to figure out what was happening, which got annoying. Overall, the event was fine, but better communication would’ve made the whole experience feel a lot smoother.

The expo felt small and crowded, and there just wasn’t much there that felt useful or worth checking out. It’s not even about expecting something over the top, I just thought there would be a little more going on for a race like this.

The scenery was underwhelming and kind of boring. I was expecting a bit more to look at, and when I had a question, I also thought the response would be faster.

There were definitely some great pockets of energy, which I appreciated, but I’m glad I didn’t go in expecting nonstop hype. A few stretches were quiet, so I kind of just focused on enjoying my own experience and not relying too much on the crowd.

I ran the Shamrock Marathon and ended up needing some medical help near the finish. Once I was seen, the staff were kind and helpful, which I appreciated. It did take longer than I expected, though, and things felt a bit unorganized in the moment. I also wish there had been clearer instructions on where to go and what to do, especially when you’re tired and not feeling great. Overall, it was okay, but the process could definitely be smoother.

I used gear check at the Shamrock Marathon it was painless. Drop-off was quick, and the volunteers seemed like they had everything under control. After the race, pickup had a bit of a line, and I did feel a little trapped in that tired crowd for a few minutes, but it moved along well enough. My bag was there, dry, and easy to find, so I really can’t complain...

The finish line had a really good vibe and was easy to move through for the most part. Medals and snacks were ready right away, which was great. It did get a bit crowded after crossing, but nothing too frustrating. Weirdly, I remember someone handing out bananas while wearing bright purple sunglasses, and that kind of sums up the fun energy there. Overall, really good experience.

I ran this race the timing/results situation was frustrating. My finish time showed up wrong at first, then changed later, and my split still didn’t line up with what my watch recorded.

It wasn’t just me either. A few people around me were missing from the results or listed in weird ways, so it made the whole thing feel kind of unreliable.
I emailed support about it and didn’t really get a clear answer. If anything, it felt like they were putting it back on me, like I must have misunderstood or done something wrong. For a paid marathon, accurate results should be a basic expectation, and I wouldn’t really trust the posted times

I was stressed before the race even started because the start area was such a mess. It felt way too crowded, and it wasn’t clear where we were supposed to line up or move next. People were kind of pushing around because everyone seemed confused, not necessarily because they were being rude. For a race this size, I figured the start would be more organized. It just made the whole morning feel more chaotic than it needed to be...

The race itself was totally fine, so maybe I’m being too picky, but the medal and swag were kind of a letdown for me. The medal felt light and just not as nice as I expected for what the race cost. The shirt also fit a little weird, and the material was just okay. I’ve done smaller races that had better stuff, which made this feel more disappointing. Not terrible or anything, just not quite what I was hoping for.

I showed up expecting at least a little guidance, but nobody seemed to know what was going on or who was supposed to help. I spent way too much time standing around trying to figure things out myself, which just felt like wasted energy. It could’ve been a lot smoother with even basic support.

I signed up for the Shamrock Marathon and overall it got the job done. I was able to make it through the process without any major problems, but a few of the pages loaded slower than I expected, and I had to reread a couple screens because the instructions weren’t totally clear.

I did get my confirmation email right away, so that was reassuring. Still, the whole registration flow felt like it could use some polishing to make it smoother and easier to follow
